KoreaProxy.com is an independent publication about one specific, surprisingly deep topic: reaching the Korean internet from outside Korea. Streaming platforms, portals, banks, ticket sites, and games all draw their borders differently — and most advice online is either outdated, vendor marketing in disguise, or dangerously casual about security.

We write plain-English explainers on how geo-restrictions actually work, honest comparisons between the tools people use to cross them (VPNs, Smart DNS, proxies), and practical guides for the real situations our readers face: expats locked out of Korean accounts, overseas Koreans managing banking from abroad, fans of Korean TV, and businesses that need to see the Korean web as Koreans see it.

What we are not

We do not operate proxy servers, sell VPN subscriptions, or publish lists of open proxies — in fact, we actively warn against using those lists. We are an editorial site, not a tool.
